How To Read Your Water Meter For Leaks
The five-minute test that tells you whether water is escaping.
Turn off every fixture, appliance and irrigation zone. Wait five minutes. Photograph the meter reading at the start and end.
Any movement means water is passing. Then isolate: shut the interior main. If movement stops, the loss is inside; if not, it is between meter and building.
Write the result down with the date. That single note changes how fast any investigation goes.
